Russian Mafia is the classic party game of Mafia for friends around one table — and nobody has to sit out as the host. The phones secretly deal the roles, run the night, announce the morning and hold the secret vote. You only argue, accuse and hunt for the Mafia. Free, no ads, no purchases.
Roles and eras
- 14 roles with hand-drawn noir cards: Citizen, Mafia, Don, Doctor, Detective, Maniac, Lover, Bodyguard, Sheriff, Journalist, Jester, Witness, Werewolf, Kamikaze.
- 8 eras: modern city, 1920s Chicago, ancient kingdom, Middle Ages, Wild West, cyberpunk, space station and pirates.
- Male or female card, and a story for every character with a secret that works as a clue.
One table, any way you like
DETECTIVE MODE (solo)
- One phone passed around the circle — for a small party with a single device.
- Everyone on their own phone over Wi‑Fi or a hotspot, no internet needed; join by code or QR.
- Over the internet by code, or a quick online game with random players: ready-made phrases instead of free chat, a bot takes the seat of anyone who leaves, and the game goes on even if the host quits.
- A tablet can be the shared screen of the table.
- Solve murder cases: suspects argue and slip up on their alibis.
- A new Case of the Day for the whole world, with a streak.
- Reverse Case: play the killer and try not to get caught.
How a round goes
8 languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Turkish, Indonesian. Music, sounds and a narrator voice. 5 to 20 players.
- Night — everyone taps on their phone, citizens too, so nobody can tell who made a real move.
- Morning — the app tells what happened, in the voice of a narrator.
- Day — speeches, discussion, a secret vote, defence speeches and a re-vote on a tie.
How to play
- Town versus Mafia. At night the Mafia removes townspeople; by day the town hunts for the Mafia and votes. The phones replace the cards and the host — you just play.
- 5 to 20 players. Three ways to play: one phone passed around the circle; everyone on their own phone (Wi‑Fi, hotspot or internet — join by code or QR); a quick online game with random players.
- The phones secretly deal the roles. Tap your card, read your role and your character’s story, close it — and don’t show your neighbours.
- Introductions: everyone tells the table about their character. The “strange thing about that night” is a clue — real or invented.
