Russian Mafia · Developer and operator: Sudarev Daniil · Last updated: October 29, 2026
Russian Mafia is a game by Sudarev (sudarev.app). We never sell data and show no ads.
What stays on your device. The name you enter for the game, your chosen card (male or female), language and voice settings, solved cases, Case of the Day results, your game history and the list of players you blocked. All of it stays on your phone and is deleted with the app or with the "Clear history" button.
Optional account. You can play without an account. If you sign in (Sign in with Apple, Google or a QR code from another device), our server (Supabase) stores your account ID, the email address the sign-in service gives us, your nickname and country, and your game history and rules — so they move to a new phone. You can delete the account and all its data at any time in the profile ("Delete account").
Playing over Wi‑Fi. Phones talk to each other directly inside your network. Nothing goes to the internet.
Playing over the internet with friends. Room messages (player names and moves) pass through a Supabase server only for the duration of a game. Private data (your role, your night moves) is encrypted between phones, and the server cannot read it. Nothing is kept after the game.
Online play with strangers. While you search for a table, a waiting room on our server sees a random install ID and when you joined. At the table you are shown under a nickname with your country flag (taken from your phone's region settings) — never your name. Players talk only with ready-made phrases; only the phrase number travels, and each phone shows it in its own language. Nothing is kept after the game. "Block" is stored only on your phone. "Report" opens an email to [email protected] with the player's nickname and the phrases they used — we read reports and act on them.
If the host of an online game leaves. So that the game does not end, the host's phone keeps sending one other player's phone an encrypted copy of the game state (it includes the roles, but the app does not show them) through the room channel. If the host leaves, that phone takes over the table. The copy lives only in memory and disappears when the game ends. Nothing is stored on our server.
AI narrator. If the host's phone is online, in the morning and after each vote it sends short facts to our server: the era, names of eliminated players, their characters' jobs and roles already revealed to everyone. The server passes them to Anthropic's Claude AI to write an era-style story and keeps nothing. Night moves and hidden roles are never sent. Offline, the story is built from templates on the phone.
Narrator voice. To read a story aloud with a recorded-quality voice, the host's phone sends the story text to our server, which passes it to Google's Gemini speech service and returns the audio. Nothing is kept. Without internet, the phone's own voice reads it.
Usage limits. To limit AI requests, our server stores a random install ID created by the app (not linked to your name or phone number) and a daily request counter.
Camera is used only to scan a room's QR code. Images are never saved or sent anywhere.
No ads, analytics or tracking. The app contains no advertising or analytics services.
Children. The game is rated 12+. Strangers can only exchange ready-made phrases. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Deleting data. Data on your phone is deleted with the app or with the "Clear history" button. The account is deleted in the profile. To delete the install ID and counter from our server, email [email protected].
