Age of Smoke (in stores: Age of Steel: Rails & Canals) is a board-style economic strategy game. The game works without an account: games against bots and hot-seat games, statistics and achievements are stored only on your device and are removed with the app.
1. What is processed for optional features
- Sudarev account (Sign in with Apple, Google or by QR from another device) — required for play-by-correspondence and online rooms. We store a user identifier, the name from your account (editable), your games and moves. Delete the account and its data in the app (Account → Delete) or by emailing [email protected].
- Online and Wi‑Fi rooms — moves are relayed to other players through the Sudarev server (Supabase, EU) or directly over the local network; the room code, names at the table and the move log are kept until the game ends.
- “Your turn” notification — for correspondence games a push token is stored on the device; revoke it by turning off notifications in the phone settings.
- AI explanations (optional, off by default) — when enabled, the current game position (no personal data) is sent to the Anthropic AI service to produce the answer; a daily limit applies.
No ads, no purchases, no tracking, no third-party analytics. Data is never sold or shared beyond the services listed above that a feature needs. Age: 4+.
