Durak: Trump Card is the Russian card game Durak the way people remember it: an evening in the yard, a lamp over an old table and neighbours who never let you get bored. No ads, no purchases, no energy timers.
A yard, not green felt
- Its own deck: jacks, queens and kings drawn in the spirit of Russian folk prints, a wreath on the aces, a card back like cross-stitch on a towel.
- The table is worn boards under a warm lamp, with the sound of cards and the rustle of the deck.
Neighbours with character
Not a faceless "Player 2" but Mikhalych, Anya, Rafik, Zina and Lyova, each with a portrait and their own sayings. Take cards and Rafik throws in "one more, my friend". Beat a trump and Mikhalych reminds you an old horse never spoils the furrow. They play gently, fairly or for real: the strong neighbour counts every move. Bots cannot peek at your cards.
Quick online game
Tap "Quick game" and you are matched with people playing the same rules. Nobody in 15 seconds and bots take the free seats. Instead of chat, eight ready-made reactions: "Ha!", "Nice one!", "Lucky!" and smileys.
With friends
A room by code or QR code. Nearby over Wi‑Fi, even without internet.
Modes
- Throw-in Durak (Podkidnoy), the classic rules.
- Passing Durak (Perevodnoy): pass the attack to the next player with a card of the same rank.
- Pairs 2v2: you and the partner opposite against two others. One fool, the whole pair loses.
- 2 to 6 players.
The fool's cap and epaulettes
A paper cap lands on the loser's head. Left with two sixes and you get the epaulettes. Wins raise your rank: Rookie → Old Hand → Card Sharp → King of the Yard. See your win streak and how many times you wore the epaulettes.

How do I play?
36-card deck, six cards each. The bottom card of the stock sets the trump. Whoever holds the lowest trump attacks first.
How strong is the bot?
There are three levels: Easy, Medium and Hard. The score is kept separately for each level.
How do I play with friends?
Tap “Play with friends” and create a room. Friends join with a 5-character code or a QR code — over the internet or the same Wi‑Fi. Bots take any empty seats.
Do I need the internet?
Not against the bot. To play with friends you need the internet or a shared Wi‑Fi; nearby on Wi‑Fi works without the internet.
Do I need an account?
No, you can play against the bot without signing in. Optionally sign in with Google or Apple to keep your progress in the cloud and move it to a new phone.
Can I undo a move?
Yes, there is an Undo button in games against the bot.
Can I change the look?
Yes: Night, Taiga, Carbon or Light — the palette button on the home screen.
