Dragonwake

Dragonwake is a fast card duel for two set in a dark fantasy world. Free forever: no ads, no purchases, no "premium".

How to play

Play cards onto the shared board by the lair. Some pile up loot: treasure chests, petrified and fire dragons. Others capture it: the Sorceress takes the chests or the petrified dragons, while the Troll, Knight, Huntress and Ship hunt for their own prey. Capture a petrified dragon and the Great Dragon flies over to you for three points. Every move is a small gamble: take it now or wait for a bigger pile?

Play with anyone

• Against the computer: four levels, Novice, Skilled, Master and Legend. The Legend plays the game out in its head hundreds of times and beats the Master in three games out of four.
• Two players on one phone.
• With a friend nearby over Wi‑Fi, no internet needed.
• Online: a room by code, link or QR code, classic or any Legends mode.
• "Find opponent": play a random player, no registration.

Legends of the lair

• Four dragons: fire, ice, storm and shadow, each with its own power.
• Omens: storm, gold rush, stone sleep and other events change the game as you play.
• Secret goals: each player gets a hidden goal worth +4 points.
• Big Lair: a 4×4 board and six new creatures, Phoenix, Golem, Sea Serpent and more.
• Draft: build your own deck from rows of cards.
• Daily challenge: one deal for everyone, beat your own record.

Campaign

12 lairs on a world map. Each has its own master with a unique style, taunts and a special rule. At the end waits the Ancient Dragon with its own deck and its own music. Earn stars and relics: Amulet, Scroll, Mirror and Hourglass.

Learn and improve

• Tutorial: 8 short lessons, about 5 minutes, then a first game with hints. Plus 3 lessons on the new Big Lair cards.
• "What happens if I play this" hints and arrows on the table.
• Game review: see your three biggest mistakes. The AI mentor explains them in plain words (after signing in, free, 3 times a day).
• 29 achievements, new card backs and your own stats: wins, streaks, favourite card.
• Rating, leagues and friends for signed-in players.
