Privacy Policy
Letterwick · Developer and operator: Sudarev Daniil · Last updated: October 28, 2026
Letterwick is a mail server that runs on your Mac and serves your own domains. The developer runs no mail servers and has no accounts: your mail, contacts and settings are stored on your Mac.
1. What is stored and where
Messages, attachments, contacts, rules, spam lists and backups are kept on your Mac (backups wherever you choose to save them). We have no access to them.
2. What goes to the internet
Only the messages you send leave your Mac, to the recipients’ mail servers. Incoming mail arrives directly on your Mac. The DNS helper only shows which records to add at your registrar.
3. Phone app
The iPhone and Android app connects to your own Mac, not to a server of ours. It is locked with Face ID or fingerprint; connection details are kept in the phone’s secure storage.
4. Optional Gemini digest and Telegram
If you turn on the digest and enter your own Gemini key, message text for the summary is sent to Google Gemini under your key and Google’s terms. If you set up your own Telegram bot, the digest is sent to your Telegram. Both are off by default.
5. No ads or tracking
The app has no advertising, analytics, crash reporting, trackers, in-app purchases or third-party SDKs that collect data, and does not use the advertising ID.
6. Deleting data
We have no account for you, so there is nothing to delete on our side: remove the app and the mail folder on your Mac.
7. Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
8. Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page. Contact: [email protected].
