Durak: Trump Card — how to play

Simple rules — the game also teaches you as you play.

1. 36-card deck, 6 cards each. The last card of the deck is face up — its suit is trumps.
2. The attacker plays a card. The defender beats it with a higher card of the same suit or with any trump.
3. Other players may add cards of the same rank as cards already on the table.
4. Everything beaten — the cards are discarded and the defender attacks next. Can’t beat a card — take all cards from the table.
5. After each round everyone draws back up to 6 cards.
6. In Transfer Durak you can pass the attack on by playing a card of the same rank — the next player defends.
7. Get rid of your cards to leave the game. The last player holding cards is the “durak” (the fool).
