Babelwick shows your Telegram bot and Matrix chats in one list and translates messages on the device. Babelwick has no server of its own, and you do not need an account with us.

1. Where messages go

Messages are sent and received only through Telegram (your bot) and the Matrix server you choose, under their terms. Messages do not pass through us.

2. Translation

Translation is done on the device by Apple Translation (Mac, iPhone) or ML Kit (Android). Text you translate is not sent anywhere. Text recognition on pictures (iPhone) also runs on the device.

3. Storage

Chats are stored on the device encrypted with AES‑256‑GCM, for 30 days by default — you can change this. The bot token and Matrix sign‑in are kept in the Keychain or Android secure storage. You can lock the app with Touch ID.

4. No ads or tracking

The app has no advertising, analytics, crash reporting, trackers, in-app purchases or third-party SDKs that collect data, and does not use the advertising ID.

5. Deleting data

We hold no data. Delete the app and the local chats are gone; messages in Telegram and Matrix are deleted there.

6. Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
