The Thrice-Nine Kingdom needs a storyteller! Two of Three is a fast card duel based on Russian folk tales, where the winner is whoever tells the finest tale.

Tell a tale, the game's big secret

Every card has a role: Hero, Helper or Villain. Bring a hero, a helper and a villain to one outpost and the tale is told: that outpost gets +4. Three outposts, three tales!

How it plays

• A match is 6 turns, about three minutes. Take 2 of the 3 outposts.
• You and your rival play at the same time, then the cards flip over. Read their move and outwit them.
• Each of the 16 outposts has its own rule: in the Hut on Hen's Legs every card grows stronger, the Kalinov Bridge fits only two cards, and at the Milk River the LOWER power wins.
• Three magic wonders, each once per game: Seven-League Boots, the Sword Kladenets and the Self-Playing Gusli. Save them for the decisive turn!

Gamayun the storyteller

The prophetic bird Gamayun narrates every battle in fairy-tale phrases and, at the end, retells your match as a tale in three parts.

The tale path, a 12-chapter campaign

Kolobok, the Swan Geese, Morozko, Sadko, Ilya Muromets, Koschei the Deathless… Every chapter has a master with their own voice. Wins unlock new cards (54 in all) and stars, and stars unlock card backs and battlefields: Khokhloma, Gzhel, Winter Tale, Sea Kingdom.

• Play offline vs a bot, from Novice to Storyteller. The bot sees only revealed cards and never cheats.
